An apple a day keeps the product designers away?
ZenRockers just released an iPhone application for Team Benns A/S - a danish travel agency. We were responsible for design and development of the application and a web interface for managing the content.
A new release from ZenRockers I/S. The search engine uses both local information (facilities) and a 3rd party webservice (“… through SOAP! Through SOAP!”).
The actual booking takes place on the 3rd party site.
“… through SOAP! Through SOAP!”
I started working on Idoru back in june 2007. The goal was to create a simple game for my Sony Ericsson phone.
But it turned out that no one had a Java Mobile Edition phone emulator for OS X. A lot of phone companies claimed to have one but when you finally got through 2-3 registration forms then the emulator was always “under development” or “coming soon”. The only real option would be to test and debug it on windows - and that would just be silly. So the game ended up as a java applet on hassing.org and never made it to a cellphone.
Until now. A mere 3 years later I finally turned it into a mobile phone game. It’s been completely rewritten in Objective C for the iPhone, iPod and iPad. This a brought a few changes to gameplay, higher resolution, music, and sound effects.
Give at try in the App Store.
The game was developed as a side project at ZenRockers I/S.
Idoru submitted to the AppStore for approval. :-)
Mmm. Gluten.
Another ZenRockers project released today. Complete CMS and booking system written in Python.
